In North Florida, a wildlife officer is parked near a boat launch. With his binoculars, he is watching two anglers coming back in from trout fishing. Early that day FWC received a tip that the two anglers had been seen harvesting an excessive amount of fish. The officer begins to count the trout to determine how many they have and how many are undersized. With all the trout measured, the officer starts to count the number of undersized fish. The angler was given two citations, one for undersized trout and one for exceeding the bag limit. His partner was only given a warning because the officer never saw him actually fishing. The two citations could come with fines ranging from $500 to $1000. Any Angler between the ages of 16 and 64, needs a Florida fishing license.
