A woman crashes her van into a parked Jeep outside a Port Charlotte home and spends much of the stop insisting that no one has spoken to her, despite deputies repeatedly explaining the crash investigation and her rights. Once the civil crash investigation wraps up, a deputy begins a DUI investigation — she initially refuses to cooperate, gets combative, and is briefly handcuffed before agreeing to field sobriety exercises, which she struggles to complete. . A search of her vehicle turns up marijuana, Xanax bars with no prescription, THC vape cartridges, and a wine bottle hidden under the passenger seat — along with a locked case she refuses to give deputies the password to.
