Thanksgiving week in Daytona Beach, Florida took a dark and chaotic turn. What started as a disturbance between a former couple quickly spiraled into violence, suicidal threats, and a felony arrest — all captured on Axon body camera footage by Daytona Beach Police. According to the arrest affidavit, Vivien Florence Pulio allegedly: • Bit her ex-boyfriend hard enough to leave visible teeth marks • Bit another man in the head while he tried to intervene • Bit an EMT while being secured to a stretcher • Threatened to slit her throat • Asked officers to shoot her • Slammed her head against the patrol car partition • Kicked the patrol car door during transport This wasn’t just a domestic dispute. It became a complex intersection of mental health crisis, alcohol abuse, domestic violence dynamics, Baker Act questions, and criminal conduct. Officers initially attempted to detain her for evaluation. Friends and family begged for psychiatric help. EMS arrived. Then the situation escalated. When an EMT was bitten, the entire course of the case changed. She was ultimately charged with: • Misdemeanor Battery (Touch or Strike) • Felony Battery on an EMT The alleged victims declined prosecution — but the State filed charges anyway. This is raw. This is unfiltered. This is real bodycam footage from November 25, 2025. And tonight on Cuffed by Cops: Unfiltered Bodycam Madness, we break it down. ⚖️ Was this a mental health crisis that should have been handled strictly under the Baker Act? ⚖️ Or once first responders were assaulted, did it become unavoidable criminal behavior? ⚖️ Did officers show restraint… or could this have gone differently? Bodycam gives transparency — but it also shows how fast chaos unfolds. Watch until the end and comment your opinion below.
