On March 24, 2023, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, officers received a dispatch call regarding a retail theft at a local Walmart. The surveillance video revealed a female leaving the store without scanning items at the self-checkout. Walmart employees promptly provided the license plate number and description of the suspect to the police. A vigilant on-duty officer spotted the car with the matching license plate shortly after the incident in the parking lot of the suspect's apartment complex. The female, later identified as Alyssa, was immediately uncooperative with officers. She was eventually asked to step out of her vehicle and was taken to the ground due to her resisting. Alyssa was charged with battery or threat to LEO and resisting or obstructing an officer. ❓Inquiries: LensOfLaw@gmail.com ☕Support Me: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/lensoflaw 🔗My Links: https://lensoflaw.com The content we highlight is designed to provide a real-life glimpse into the encounters of law enforcement, not to demean or belittle those featured.
