He spotted a 2020 Toyota Corolla stuck in woods east of Hickory Lane. Turns out, the driver sped east on Hickory Lane, blew a stop sign, and plunged right into the trees. Officers approached the driver, 19-year-old Nadia. Two young kids rode as passengers. Nadia said she just kept going straight after someone told her to. Cops saw clear signs she was impaired. They had her try field sobriety tests. Sicknick began with the Walk and Turn. Nadia missed heel-to-toe steps. She turned wrong and waved her arms for balance. Next came One Leg Stand. She didn't lift her foot right and dropped it too soon. They asked her to say the alphabet, A to Z, no singing. She botched it. Another cop ran the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test. The crash plus her failed tests led Sicknick to arrest Nadia for DUI. They impounded her car for 12 hours under John's Law. He drove her to the Berkeley station for booking. There, they read her the standard statement. She agreed to breath tests. Alcotest showed 0.19% BAC—over twice the 0.08% limit, and 19 times the 0.01% rule for under-21 drivers. They took her photo and prints. Then, due to odd things she said, officers took her to Community Medical Center in Toms River for a check. Sicknick gave her tickets for driving under influence, reckless driving, careless driving, and ignoring the stop sign. She faced criminal charges too: two counts of child endangerment under 2C:24-7.1A(2) for the minors aboard. On January 3, 2024, a court found Nadia guilty of DUI. She got 12 hours at an intoxicated driver center, nine months with an ignition interlock, and $690 in fines. The plea deal dropped the other three tickets. Records show an earlier DWI arrest by State Police in Middletown Township on January 13, 2023. Before that, another DWI in Barnegat Township on December 2, 2022. After this case, Stafford Township charged her with shoplifting on January 31, 2024, under 2C:20-11B(1). Later, on May 28, 2024, came charges for criminal mischief, 2C:17-3A(1), and simple assault, 2C:12-1A(1). 20:35 Pastry police, need to stop taking orders, from the little bossy tart... 22:32 That’s the problem—she doesn’t care—about anything or anyone, including herself. SSE, selfish, spoiled, entitled. 1:37:29 what a disrespectful child. Incredibly rude. If you enjoyed this BodyCamBust video.
