At about 4:00 PM, on Thursday, July 11, 2024, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to the area of 479 Blue Hill Avenue for a report of an armed robbery. Officers were advised that three armed suspects with firearms entered the business and robbed the individuals. The suspects fled the scene prior to officers’ arrivals. Detectives were able to obtain video surveillance from inside the business, and immediately recognized two of the suspects. Detectives also utilized city of Boston cameras and obtained a partial plate of the fleeing vehicle. One of the victim’s stolen watches was being tracked to the area of Adams Street and Lyon Street. Officers requested assistance from District C-11 (Dorchester) who were then able to locate the suspected vehicle in the driveway of 86 Adams Street. A third suspect refused to exit an apartment, and a forced entry was made by SWAT in order to place the suspect into custody. The involved apartments were secured pending a search warrant.
