Summary of Incident Report: On June 4th, 2023, at 13:26 hours, an incident occurred at 724 S Missouri Ave leading to the arrest of Gerald Lemmon for a city ordinance violation (6.31 - Open Alcohol) and Anthony Catron for obstruction and resisting arrest without violence. Lemmon was observed with an open "Earthquake High Gravity Lager" beer can, which he attempted to conceal in a Coca-Cola bottle upon noticing law enforcement. Catron interfered with the investigation by standing between the officers and Lemmon, and later grabbed Lemmon's arm during the arrest, causing safety concerns. Officer Perez's assistance was requested to handle the situation. Lemmon was apprehended for the ordinance violation while Catron's actions diverted attention. Catron resisted arrest by intentionally going limp and demanding medical attention. Medical assistance was called, and Catron was taken to Morton Plant Hospital. VIPAR affidavits for Lemmon and Catron were completed and approved by Sergeant Stiff.
