A Cranston police officer pulls over a car for a minor seatbelt violation—and ends up uncovering a massive drug operation. The entire bust is captured on police bodycam. The suspect, 21-year-old Teddy Lopez, claimed he only had “a little bit of weed.” But when officers asked him to step out of the rental vehicle, things escalated fast. A K-9 unit soon alerted to a hidden compartment containing a jaw-dropping stash: 11 kilograms of cocaine, over two grams of fentanyl powder, pressed fentanyl pills, marijuana, $1,700 in cash, multiple phones, and even an open bottle of Don Julio. The officer’s reaction says it all—shock, disbelief, and urgency as more evidence piles up. Lopez was arrested on multiple felony drug charges, including possession with intent to deliver.
