Police responded to a 911 call for a domestic disturbance after a couple claimed they were only arguing. At first, the situation seemed calm, but officers quickly noticed the man had a bleeding injury near his eye and called medics to check him out. As officers separated both sides and began asking what happened, the story became more serious. The man explained there had been a physical altercation, while the woman said the argument involved pushing and shoving. Because this was a domestic situation and there was a visible injury, officers explained they were required by law to take action. The investigation shifted from a simple argument call to a domestic battery arrest. Officers arranged medical attention for the injured man while the woman was placed under arrest and told she would see a judge the next morning. This bodycam footage shows how quickly a relationship argument can turn into a criminal investigation once injuries are visible and police have to follow domestic violence procedures.
