On September 11th, 2023, officers in New Mexico responded to a call from hotel management concerning a guest refusing to leave her room after checkout. Upon arrival, officers attempted to speak with the suspect, who initially refused to open the door to her room. After several attempts were made to get the suspect to open the room door, hotel maintenance arrived and unlocked the door to check on the woman. When officers entered, they found the suspect dressed in a bathrobe, shouting that they had no right to remove her. Officers asked her to get dressed, but the woman locked herself inside the hotel room’s bathroom, refusing to comply. Despite warnings that she would be arrested for trespassing, the suspect continued to ignore the officers. Officers eventually opened the bathroom door, where she continued to resist while shouting at officers. After a physical struggle, officers managed to handcuff the suspect, though she repeatedly fell to the floor and resisted being escorted out of the hotel. The suspect was eventually placed in the back of a police vehicle. The suspect was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Obstructing an Officer. #police #bodycam #cops ~~~ ** Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only.
