Possessed Daughter Tries to Steal Officers Firearm “On December 6, 2024, several Orlando police officers responded to a welfare check requested by the suspect’s boyfriend, who reported concerns about her mental health. When officers arrived, the suspect’s mother stated that she was possessed and had tried to attack the family dog after abruptly waking from sleep. From that point, the situation only grew stranger.” “After gathering all necessary information, she was transported to the Orange County Jail and charged with unlawful attempt to take a law enforcement officer’s firearm. According to the police report, during the struggle she pressed the magazine release, causing the magazine to fall to the ground. However, she never managed to remove the firearm from the holster because the officer was able to hold her hand down against it.
