Former NFL first-round pick Robert Nkemdiche was detained by Union City, Georgia police after officers observed him leaving a Kroger with items concealed in his sweatpants. When officers confronted the former Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle, he denied stealing anything, but officers recovered candy bars, frozen meals, and almond milk in the surrounding parking lots. Kroger declined to press charges but requested Nkemdiche be criminally trespassed from the store. When officers ran his name, they discovered 10 active warrants across multiple states, including three in Georgia. He was transported to the Fulton County jail. This was Nkemdiche's third arrest in roughly a year. He was previously arrested for DUI at a bowling alley in Kennesaw, Georgia in March 2025 and for shoplifting wine in Buford, Georgia in July 2025. Nkemdiche was the consensus No. 1 overall recruit in the class of 2013 and was selected 29th overall by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2016 NFL Draft. He played five NFL seasons for the Cardinals, Dolphins, and Seahawks, earning approximately $13.8 million in career earnings. All footage obtained through a public records request. No narration.
