On Sunday, January 19, 2025, officers responded to a residential call regarding a domestic disturbance involving a 31-year-old female suspect named Tamira, who was engaged in a heated verbal and physical dispute with her child's father and his family members. Despite being given multiple warnings by responding officers to calm down and leave the property, the suspect continued to scream obscenities, shout threats, and escalate the situation. When the suspect attempted to flee on foot, an officer pursued and deployed a taser to detain her. Following the deployment, the suspect immediately changed her demeanor, claiming she was pregnant and heavily resisting the officers' attempts to secure her in handcuffs. She remained highly uncooperative and combative during the arrest and subsequent medical evaluation by paramedics before being transported to jail. The suspect was ultimately charged with Resisting an Officer Without Violence and Disorderly Conduct, later pleading no contest and receiving a sentence of 60 days in jail.
