On April 27, 2025, Lacey Police Officers were conducting a traffic stop when Officer Washington was nearly struck by a passing motorist. Officer Pratts gave chase and caught up with the 25-year-old driver. The woman was heavily intoxicated and could not perform standardized field sobriety tests. When the handcuffs came out, the woman became extremely belligerent. She started name dropping that her stepfather was a police sergeant and her mother was an acting fire captain. At the police station, she vomited all over the floor and then spat at Officer Pratts. She demanded phone calls and stated that she would not provide blood samples even though a blood warrant was obtained. While enroute to the contract Nisqually Corrections Center, she urinated all over the back of the police car. She was too intoxicated to be accepted at the Nisqually Corrections Center, so she had to be transported to the Thurston County Jail.
