On September 18, 2023, Daniela Montoya was involved in a fatal hit-and-run incident in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Witnesses reported that a blue Subaru struck Kenieka Coleman, who was in a wheelchair, before fleeing the scene. Coleman was then tragically run over by two other vehicles. Montoya turned herself in three days later, explaining that she fled due to fear and because she was driving a borrowed vehicle. She was subsequently charged with leaving the scene of a fatality collision. In this clip, an officer advises Daniela Montoya on appropriate clothing for her upcoming time in the Oklahoma County Detention Center, suggesting she change into a t-shirt before being processed. The officer then asks Montoya if she has any personal items like a phone or wallet she wants to retrieve or secure.
