On June 17, 2023, Sheboygan Police Officers responded to a single vehicle traffic collision described as a car into a building. Officers arrived to find the 20-year-old driver sitting on a curb. She declined to be transported to the hospital and officers initiated a drunk driving investigation. After completing field sobriety tests, the woman agreed to submit to a portable breath test (PBT). The result was 0.177% BAC. The woman was placed under arrest and was transported to the hospital for a blood draw. On July 6, 2023, the results came back from the laboratory and they registered 0.214% BAC. She was charged with Operating While Under the Influence. The outcome of her case does not appear in online records.
