On May 5, 2024, Orlando Police Officer Chuman allegedly observed several traffic violations. He initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by a 25-year-old woman. She claimed she did not have a driver's license with her, so she was asked to turn her vehicle off. When she failed to comply, Officers Chuman, Brisinte, and Parenti attempted to extract the woman from the vehicle. She started screaming that she was pregnant, while failing to comply with officer's orders. She was eventually detained in handcuffs and placed in the back of a patrol car.
