Accidentally published this without a description at first. Let's fix that. Here's the scoop: Chandler Reese Irby was ultimately charged with speeding (more than 15 mph over the speed limit), reckless driving, driving without headlights at night, improper lane change, failure to stop or yield, and felony fleeing with substantial danger of death. The case was bound over to circuit court, where charges were filed for felony fleeing. On May 24, 2022, Irby entered a plea of guilty to the charge. Irby was sentenced to three years of reporting probation, plus a fine of $1,000, 600 hours of community service, and four days in jail (with credit for four days served), with the possibility of having his record expunged upon successful completion. On July 25, 2021, Irby was arrested on suspicion of felony aggravated assault, and was ultimately charged with first degree misdemeanor assault, which has a potential penalty of one day to one year in county jail, and a fine of up to $2,500. On October 25, 2022, Irby was sentenced to 12 months probation, after entering a negotiated plea of no contest to the charge. Additional conditions included 40 hours community service, a requirement that Irby get his GED, a forfeiture of certain seized property, and a $128 assessment. A description of the assault incident is included in a pinned comment below. A revocation of probation hearing in Irby's fleeing case is currently scheduled for November 7, 2022. ~~~ /r/realworldpolice @realworldpolice @WhatYouHaventSeen
