REAL POLICE BODYCAM footage shows Des Plaines Police officers dealing with an intoxicated woman at Rivers Casino who launches into an incoherent political rant. This bodycam video captures another puzzling aspect of the escalating confrontation that led to multiple felony charges. In this police bodycam footage, 38-year-old Stephanie Neff from Lake in the Hills abruptly shifts topics during her confrontation with officers, making a disjointed statement: "I did not have a good time at the concert." This non-sequitur, captured clearly on the police bodycam, demonstrates her confused mental state. She immediately transitions into a bizarre political accusation directed at the officers: "I think that you people are brainwashed by the fucking politics that you're seeping in your brain." This irrational outburst, documented on the bodycam, shows the unpredictable nature of the interaction as she attempts to politicize a standard law enforcement request to leave private property. The clip concludes with her repeating a hostile dismissal: "So get out of my face," further demonstrating her combative attitude toward officers attempting to resolve the situation. According to police reports, this incident occurred at Rivers Casino in Des Plaines on April 15, 2024, after Neff was prevented from entering the casino floor due to her intoxication level. Casino security had requested police assistance after she refused to leave the property despite multiple requests. This police bodycam footage shows another aspect of what became an increasingly volatile situation. After initially agreeing to leave via rideshare, Neff later refused to enter the vehicle and attempted to re-enter the casino. The confrontation eventually escalated to physical aggression where she attempted to punch an officer, chest-bumped another, and kicked officers while being placed in a squad car. Neff was ultimately charged with two counts of felony aggravated battery to a peace officer, felony aggravated assault to a peace officer, and a misdemeanor count of resisting a peace officer.
