Tontitown, Arkansas 10/22/22 ***On October 22, 2022, at approximately 1647 hours, I, Officer Hammons was sitting stationary at the Tontitown Police Department, facing the roadway, when I observed a white Nissan Altima, displaying Arkansas vehicle license 522UNV. I ran the tag through my in-car ACIC system, and it showed the vehicle to be stolen. It is to be noted, I knew Washington County had just been in a pursuit of a white Altima down by Lincoln. I advised dispatch to run the vehicle license as I was attempting to catch up to the vehicle. I advised dispatch the vehicle was fleeing and to show me in pursuit of the vehicle. During this time dispatch advised the vehicle was stolen and it was the vehicle that had previously been pursued by Washington County. The vehicle sped up to a high rate of speed, traveling east bound on Highway 412 and Maestri Road, driving in the turn lane, with heavy traffic on the roadway. The vehicle almost struck another vehicle in the turn lane in front of the Casey's General store. As we continued east bound, at speeds over 90 mph, in the turn lane, it continued to drive very recklessly, in such a manner as to wanton disregarding the safety of other motorists on the roadway, weaving in and out of traffic. As we came up to the intersection of 412 and the on-ramp of 149, the vehicle swerved from the turn lane, into lane one, striking a vehicle in the rear, and running off the roadway. The vehicle re-entered the roadway and was traveling south bound on 1-49, at a very high rate of speed. The vehicle continued weaving in and out of traffic, passing vehicles on the shoulder of the highway at speeds of over 100mph during this time. The vehicle continued traveling south bound on 1-49, then exiting on Steven Carr Blvd, turning back north onto N. Shiloh drive in Fayetteville, almost striking oncoming motorist on the roadway, During this time, due to the vehicle had already caused an accident, driving extremely recklessly, and attempting to get back onto the city streets, where traffic was heavy, I attempted a PIT maneuver, which was unsuccessful. The vehicle turned onto North Highway 112, passing motorists, driving into oncoming traffic, then entering the intersection of 112 and Van Ashe. When the vehicle entered the intersection, it cut through vehicles, almost striking several cars, running off the roadway, hitting a curb and phone pedestal, causing the vehicle to be disabled. I placed my patrol car into the passenger side of the vehicle, due to the driver, was attempting to still go with the accelerated to the floor, I exited my patrol unit, with my department issued weapon drawn, giving verbal commands to exit the vehicle. The female driver opened the driver's door, she was placed onto the ground, and secured in handcuffs. During this time, my duty pants were torn on the pavement. She was secured in the rear of my patrol unit. During the search of the vehicle, I located a small plastic baggy containing a white crystal-like substance, known as meth, in a cigarette box in a small purse. / located a hypodermic syringe in the purse as well. I later located a glass pipe, with meth residue inside it, in the passenger side floorboard. This pipe is typically used to ingest an illegal substance into the human body. I also located in the purse a prescription bottle, with many unknown pills inside it. A black .177 caliber pellet gun was located in the glove box of the vehicle.***
