Deputies Report: On 12/3/2024, at approximately 0037 hours, I was patrolling the area of Montano and Culture Rd in a fully marked patrol vehicle. I was wearing my class b uniform while displaying my badge of office, when I observed a male sitting underneath a no trespassing sign at the McDonalds. I made contact with the male who was later identified as Trace Risinger. I asked Risinger what his personal information was to which he stated he did not know. Risinger at this time began to stand up and get his belongings, I told Risinger he was not allowed to leave. At this time Risinger began to walk away and then started to run away towards the Southwest of the parking lot. I ran after Risinger on foot, as I closed distance on Risinger and took both of my hands placing them on his back. I attempted to grasp his loose clothing in order to stop him from running. The pressure applied to his back forced Risinger forward causing him to fall forward. I then lost my footing and also fell forward sliding on my chest for a couple of feet. I then was able to take a back mount on Risinger who then gave up. Risinger was placed under arrest at this time. Risinger was also found to have a felony warrant for his arrest, this was confirmed through N.C.I.C. using his name, date of birth and social security number. Risinger sustained what looked like a bump or minor swelling on his nose and forehead area from the fall. Risinger was photographed on scene by Deputy Torres, reference his supplemental report and photos for further details. Risinger is under arrest for his outstanding felony warrant and Resisting or Obstructing a Peace Officer. My Axon body camera was active during this incident. Nothing further at this time.
