He Gave the Cops a Fake Name.. It Backfired Instantly What happens when you try to outsmart law enforcement by giving a fake name? 🚔 In this unbelievable bodycam footage, officers encounter an incredibly entitled individual who believes the law simply does not apply to them. Instead of complying with a lawful order to identify themselves during an investigation, the suspect decides to play games and provide a fake name. While you have the right to remain silent in many situations, affirmatively lying to a police officer about your identity during a lawful detention is a quick way to turn a minor traffic stop or warning into a trip to jail for "Obstruction of Justice" or "Providing False Identification to Law Enforcement." ⚠️ EDUCATIONAL, JOURNALISTIC & FAIR USE NOTICE: Law Guard TV serves strictly as an educational and journalistic platform.
