🚨 125 MPH Bronco Pursuit & Firearm Recovery — Jackson County, Missouri (June 21, 2025) A Missouri State Highway Patrol corporal reported seeing a gray Ford Bronco traveling 85 mph on US‑71 near The Paseo. When the trooper initiated a stop, the driver — Tremaine N. Terrell — briefly pulled over before accelerating away from the traffic stop. Terrell fled southbound on US‑71, then exited at E 39th Street and ran a red light. He later returned to US‑71 and accelerated to 120 mph, continuing westbound onto I‑670 and crossing into Kansas. The pursuit was terminated when it crossed state lines. A short time later, the same Bronco was spotted again on E 39th Street traveling at a high rate of speed. When Corporal McDonald attempted another stop, Terrell fled a second time, running additional red lights and driving with his headlights off. He again reached speeds near 120 mph on US‑71. A Jackson County deputy deployed stop sticks, deflating the Bronco’s front right tire. Terrell continued westbound on I‑670 until the vehicle slowed and stopped near Walnut Street. He fled on foot across the interstate but was taken into custody. During the walk back to the patrol vehicle, Terrell removed a holster from his waistband and threw it onto the roadway. A search of the Bronco revealed a Glock 19X handgun with a round chambered, marijuana, a digital scale, and numerous empty marijuana packaging baggies. Troopers also learned Terrell’s license was revoked and he was on probation/parole for felony theft, with multiple outstanding warrants. Charges Submitted: Aggravated Fleeing a Stop or Detention (Felony) Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (Felony) Sentencing details at end of video.
