Officers in Ogden, Utah respond to reports of a battery to a pregnant woman with the suspect still on foot in the area. Once the suspect was located behind a Costco, de-escalation techniques are attempted by the first arriving officer. The suspect is non-compliant and refuses all commands. Once back up arrives, he is taken to the ground. During the struggle, the suspect is able to unholster a gun from a level 3 duty holster, which requires three specific motions to unlock the gun.
