#news #police #arrest #cops Report: On 09/3/2022, Officers responded in reference to an unknown problem. There was a bad phone connection but it sounded like a female was on the line and dispatch said that they heard something about "dad". Officers checked multiple lots but had no contact with the caller. Residents in these houses all claimed that they did hear gunsh*ts before police arrival. Officer then made contact with the victim who was the one who called the police. She answered the door. Her hand appeared to be shaking. She stated that she has had a big problem with her ex-husband. She showed officer a video and picture of them outside arguing. The victim stated that the suspect had come to this location for rent money. When the suspect saw her boyfriend in the house he got upset, pushed the her to the side, and tried to get inside the house. The victim told officers that the suspect had tried to get into her house 2 or 3 times. The victim, her boyfriend, and three children were inside the house when the rounds were shot. Later Officers learned that the suspect had a g*n and showed it to the victim as they stood close to each other so that she knew that he had it. The suspect at one point pushed her to get past her and then started pounding on the door with the firearm. At one point he made a threat that he was going to come back in a few minutes and then stated, "I'm going to k*ll you." This statement was corroborated by her daughter. Before he left, The suspect was standing in the driveway and he shot off two rounds from a silver revolver handgun. He left in his Honda Fit. When Cecilia was recounting this event, she started to cry and get visibly upset. Interview were done with the boyfriend and the children. A search incident to arrest the vehicle was conducted. In the driver's door pocket was a silver g*n. This g*n was seized and placed into evidence. Officers also transported the suspect to the Clarke County Jail for booking. There was an opened container in the motor vehicle and his license was expired in 2019. He was not charged with these. The suspect also has an outstanding failure to appear for deportation warrant which was issued in January of this year.
