On September 1, 2025, multiple 911 calls reported a silver Toyota driving the wrong way on Randall Road in McHenry County, Illinois. The vehicle had already gotten stuck on a median before officers were dispatched. Moments later, it struck an Acura RDX head-on near Miller Road. Behind the wheel was a 61-year-old woman who told first responders she had just come from a celebration of life for her mother. She had no memory of the crash, repeatedly asking officers what had happened. Body cam shows officers initially assuming confusion and possible dementia — one even noting there was no DUI, just a disoriented elderly driver. Then the blood work came back. This is the body cam footage from the scene, the hospital, and the aftermath that followed. This video is for educational and informational purposes only.
