On October 17th, 2023, officers received a call of an active trespassing at an auto scrapyard. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the manager, who told them he had found a man in the backseat of a car in the yard. The staff knew the man as he had previously trespassed three times at the auto scrapyard. As a security measure, the manager and his team used a forklift to lift the car with the suspect inside off the ground and waited for police to arrive. Officers instructed staff to lower the vehicle so they could safely arrest the suspect inside. Officers arrested the suspect and located a black Nike backpack containing a sawzall cutting tool, additional sawzall blades, and various other hand tools. After running his information through the database, officers confirmed the suspect’s identity as Alexander Funk. The tools Funk possessed were collected and tagged as evidence as he was transported to jail for further processing. The suspect was charged with Criminal Trespass and Possessing Criminal Tools. #police #bodycam #cops ~~~ ** Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only.
