On 07/31/2025, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a call of a domestic violence incident inside a residence. Upon arrival, deputies encountered a man armed with two knives who was actively assaulting a woman. Deputies issued commands for the suspect to drop the weapons, but the suspect continued the assault. Deputies then fired their service weapons, striking the suspect. The woman sustained injuries during the incident and received medical treatment.
