Officers reported seeing a passenger they believed matched a man wanted on a Pulaski County warrant tied to failure to appear in a case involving drug and firearm charges. They located the vehicle near Barton and Markham Streets and followed it to Markham and University Avenue, where officers said the driver made a right turn after stopping across the crosswalk at a red light. During the traffic stop, officers asked the passenger, later identified as Mr. Williamson, to step out of the vehicle. He refused, and officers removed him. His foot became stuck between the front seat and the door area; officers freed it and took him to the ground. A supervisor and MEMS were requested. Dispatch then advised officers that Pulaski County had already served the warrant. Officers told Williamson he would be released and cited for refusal to submit to arrest. The driver received a written warning. Real. Raw. Right Here.
