What initially appeared to be another late-night drunk driving investigation quickly drew widespread attention after officers discovered the driver was none other than Eminem’s ex-wife who had been arrested just months earlier following another alleged drunk driving crash involving a hit-and-run. Incident: On May 13th, 2026, at approximately 9:52 PM, Chesterfield Township Police Officers responded to multiple 911 calls regarding a crash involving a female driver who had struck a parked vehicle and was blocking the roadway. Several callers advised dispatch they believed the driver was intoxicated. Upon arriving on scene, officers made contact with the driver and immediately observed several signs of possible intoxication, including slurred speech and impaired behavior. During the investigation, the driver admitted to consuming alcohol earlier in the night before officers began administering Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. According to investigators, the suspect registered a preliminary breath test result of 0.20 percent BAC during the roadside investigation, more than twice Michigan’s legal limit of 0.08 percent. Officers later transported the suspect to booking, where a certified evidential chemical breath test showed a result of 0.18 percent BAC. Authorities confirmed the suspect had previously been arrested earlier this year in connection to another alleged drunk driving crash involving a hit-and-run. Court records show the suspect later entered a no contest plea in that prior case, meaning she accepted the court’s punishment without formally admitting guilt. The suspect was initially booked for Operating While Intoxicated Second Offense before investigators later discovered another prior OWI conviction dating back to 2015. Due to the two prior offenses, prosecutors enhanced the charge to Operating While Intoxicated Third Offense, a felony offense under Michigan law. Following the investigation, the suspect was transported to the Macomb County Jail pending arraignment before later bonding out awaiting future court proceedings.
