The driver, 48-year-old Michael Alfonso, didn’t stop until he reached AdventHealth-Palm Coast and parked near the ER. Deputies said Alfonso appeared extremely intoxicated and took him inside to be checked out before arresting him for felony DUI, his fourth offense, along with failing to obey law enforcement. He is being held on a $26,000 bond.
