Police bodycam: autistic daughter says her mom hit her at Ski Santa Fe. Officers split them up, hear both sides, and bring in the Mobile Crisis Unit. Morgan tells police her mother hit her after an argument on the mountain. Her mom admits she struck her, and officers try to calm things down while figuring out what happens next. Morgan repeatedly asks if she’s under arrest or going to jail, asks to speak with a crisis officer, and officers explain the Albuquerque Mobile Crisis Unit and how it helps in situations like this. The officer promises she isn’t being arrested and says he’s not taking her to jail, then offers a ride to the hospital instead of an ambulance. 00:13 - Call: “She hit me” 00:30 - Officers arrive; both sides separated 01:05 - Mom explains autism 01:29 - Wrong ski day argument 04:49 - Mom admits she hit her 05:22 - Car argument escalates 07:40 - “Not under arrest” explained 09:13 - Guardianship and nursing home talk 10:34 - Drive to the ski base questions 11:06 - Both detained; supervisor call 12:57 - Two options to get to the hospital 13:40 - Requesting a crisis officer 14:33 - Mobile Crisis Unit explained 16:44 - “No jail” promise 17:27 - “How do I get home?” 19:37 - Courtesy ride to the hospital 20:14 - Ambulance vs ride explained 21:29 - Buckle up; heading out Subscribe.
