On November 7, 2024, at approximately 8:03 PM, deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a reckless driver. A red sedan had been seen speeding, swerving off the roadway, and driving erratically. The vehicle was tracked into a residential community, where deputies made contact with the driver — who was still behind the wheel, engine running, and parked crookedly near a light post. Upon approach, the driver appeared disoriented, with red, glassy eyes, slurred speech, and difficulty following commands. She struggled to find the park button and mistakenly reversed the vehicle while deputies gave her multiple verbal instructions to stop. Once out of the car, she was observed swaying while standing still.
