Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: Around 3:59 PM on November 4, 2025, Officers Gross and Godinho of the St. Charles Police Department went to the Walmart on 150 Smith Road. A loss prevention employee told them a woman tried to steal $778.51 in baseball and football cards. She hid them in a duffel bag. The woman was Karalyn Ruth Gross. Officer Gross checked the receipt and video. Officer Godinho found a cart of trading cards outside the office. The receipt showed 11 Panini Donruss NFL packs at $59.87 each and 3 Topps Chrome Baseball cards at $39.98 each. Video showed Karalyn came in with a man. He left the store before she tried to take the cards. Staff caught her in the vestibule. Walmart wanted to press charges. Police arrested Karalyn for Felony Retail Theft and took her to the station. ASA Eric Vincent with DuPage County Felony Screening approved one charge of Class 3 Felony Retail Theft. Karalyn got a court date for December 4, 2025. She was released on her own recognizance.
