This wild bodycam clip from December 5, 2022, captures a heated showdown during the arrest of Daniel Hilts, a 32-year-old patron from Punta Gorda, Florida, at Anthony’s Restaurant & Pub in Joliet, Illinois. Filmed in the parking lot at 1:50 AM, this YouTube Short shows officers offering Hilts a free ride and pointing out his Gucci bag, saying, “There’s your Gucci bag,” while he snaps, “I don’t give a fuck,” and demands a cigarette, yelling, “I ain’t being fucking rude at all.” Accused of rudeness, Hilts fires back, “What the fuck did I do wrong to you, bro?” as officers urge, “Just go home.” This raw clash is pure fuel for true crime fans. The chaos kicked off when Hilts, tossed from Anthony’s for causing trouble, tried to drive his car, pulling in Officers Joseph Robinson and Robert Bukala. After blowing off ride-shares or a security escort to his nearby hotel, Hilts got hostile, leading to a takedown and charges of aggravated battery to a peace officer, aggravated assault, obstructing justice, criminal trespass to property, and resisting arrest. The neon-drenched Anthony’s parking lot sets a gritty stage for this real-life crime saga, perfect for fans of unfiltered police bodycam action. True crime junkies will devour Hilts’ fiery indifference and cigarette demands, offering a raw peek into a tense cop showdown. The Gucci bag offer and rudeness accusations amp up the drama in this wild arrest. Was Hilts just venting, or did he cross the line?
