Officers were called after a man allegedly argued with a woman inside her home, struck her son, and then left on foot. A short time later, he returned to the residence, and when she refused to open the door, he picked up a patio chair and threw it through her bedroom window. Officers searched the area but could not locate him at that time. Later that morning, a detective spotted a man stumbling in the street and recognized him as the suspect from the earlier incident. When the detective attempted to detain him, the man tried to run, ignored commands, and resisted, forcing officers to use a taser and eventually take him to the ground. He was taken into custody and transported for medical clearance before being booked on multiple charges.
