In April, a fifteen-year-old classmate told investigators that Beerman, then fourteen, forced himself on her inside a co-ed sauna at a Georgia fitness center. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation examined the areas she described. According to the police report, no male DNA was recovered on or inside her body. That finding is real. But a lab report is not a verdict, and a missing sample is not a missing act. The defense presented the clean lab result as exoneration. The state presented something else entirely — a juvenile probation file that had been active since October 2025, with six special conditions including sex offender treatment, completed by July, supervision running until 2027. The defense responded that the prior juvenile matter arose from inappropriate, crude behavior between two middle schoolers, did not result in adjudication for statutory rape or intercourse, and that any suggestion otherwise materially misleads.
