What started as a routine speeding stop became a DUI investigation, then a forced extraction from her vehicle by three Flagler County Sheriff's Office deputies, then a hospitalization, then three felony charges. She told the deputy she had to use the bathroom. She told him she'd just pay the ticket. She told him she lived two streets up the road. He saw empty beer cans in her back seat and decided her eyes looked glossy. No PBT was administered. No field sobriety test was attempted. On body-worn camera, the deputy eventually says: "Okay. I'm not asking you to do a DUI anymore." She was extracted from her vehicle anyway. She came out bleeding. She was booked into the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility
