Bodycam footage from the Nassau County Sheriff's Office in Florida shows the arrest of a woman who posed as a Registered Nurse, allegedly treating thousands of patients without a valid license. On August 5, 2024, deputies arrived at the woman's home to serve multiple felony warrants. The investigation revealed that she had been using another individual's RN license and identity to gain employment at a Florida hospital. From mid-2023 to early 2025, she is alleged to have treated over 4,400 patients while working as a fake nurse. The fraud was only discovered when the woman was being considered for a promotion, and a coworker's routine check of her credentials revealed the deception. She is now facing over 70 years in prison on charges including practicing as a registered nurse without a license, identity theft, and forgery.
