On December 29, 2022, Riverside County Sheriff's Deputy Isaiah Cordero pulls over a truck for a missing license plate. The driver shoots him and flees — setting off a manhunt involving more than 100 officers across two counties, spike strips, an armored BearCat, and a freeway gunfight that ends with the shooter, William Shea McKay, dead. McKay had been free on bail for a third-strike conviction and had failed to appear for sentencing months earlier. This video reconstructs the full incident using released body-camera and radio audio. 🔴 New bodycam cases posted regularly — subscribe to catch the next one. #PoliceBodycam #TrueCrime #lineofduty #bodycam #RealFootag #policechase [Standard disclaimer block] This video is presented for documentary, journalistic, and public-accountability purposes.
