If you like regular arrest content, be sure to check out our other channel @ArrestCam Officers with Florida Fish and Wildlife responded to a call in reference to a woman in possession of an allegedly mutilated fawn. Officers arrived on scene and found the injured white-tailed deer enclosed in her backyard with a 4-foot chain link fence. The deer was examined by biologists and veterinarians who determined the leg was improperly amputated by a knife-like object with a tourniquet above the amputation. Officers met up with 65 year old Karen to conduct an interview. Karen was later and charged with cruelty to animals, unlawful possession of a whitetail deer without aa proper enclosure, unlawful possession of a whitetail deer without a legally obtained permit, and torturing inflicting pain, serious injury, or death to an animal. Her bond was set at $70,000 and her case remains ongoing. Due to the nature of the deer’s injuries and its physical condition, it had to be humanely euthanized. During the course of the investigation, Karen was also cited for various charges that include animal cruelty and violations of vaccination requirements.
