On October 22, 2023, DFW Airport Police were dispatched to incoming flight AA1082, which arrived from Charlotte. Flight Attendants on board were allegedly being threatened by a drunk 23-year-old woman, who was sitting in First Class. Officers tried speaking with the woman, who was ultimately arrested for public intoxication. Once the handcuffs went on, the woman went on a racist and profanity filled tirade against the officers. Once at the jail, it took 5 people to control her. She was eventually placed in a holding cell in order to sober up.
