Bodycam footage from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office shows the moment deputies arrested a mother for leaving her young child alone in a car for nearly two hours while she was inside a gym. On February 16th, 2025, deputies responded to a Crunch Fitness in a suburb of West Palm Beach, Florida, after a bystander reported a child had been left unattended in a vehicle. Officers located the car, which was unlocked with the child inside. They then entered the gym to find the mother, Christina, who had been checked in and working out for almost two hours. When confronted, the mother made a series of bizarre excuses and became argumentative with deputies. After confirming how long the child had been left alone, officers placed the irresponsible mother under arrest for child neglect.
