Date: November 11, 2023 Department: Martin County Sheriff's Office, FL Suspect: Jamal Eugene Pittman In the early hours of November 11, 2023, suspect, Jamal Eugene Pittman, was stopped by Martin County Sheriff's Office for riding a bicycle without lights. Pittman failed to exercise his right to remain silent and gave officers consent to search. Pittman admitted to drinking prior to the encounter and gave authorities consent to search. During the search, officers found Fetanyl and marijuana. Pittman was charged with constructive possession for the Fetanyl. According to reports, Pittman was not charged for the marijuana and not receive any citations for the bicycle lights.
