Today, the Aurora Police Department is releasing a critical incident video related to the officer-involved shooting that occurred on August 30, 2025. We strive to release these videos within 30 days of an incident, and by law, they cannot be released until 72 hours after an affected family has viewed them. Any loss of life is a tragedy for an individual’s family, our community, and the officers involved. We understand there may be additional questions.
