Stark County sheriff's deputies used a Taser to subdue a 35-year-old man in costume who was holding a knife and running into traffic, according to a Facebook post from the sheriff's office. Photos shared by passersby show the man dressed in a black robe and hood, resembling the central character from the "Scream" movie series. Around 8:28 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a man with a knife in the 1400 block of Raff Road SW. The man then fled onto U.S. 30, and deputies pursued him on foot. They managed to stop traffic on the expressway and used a Taser to take him into custody. The sheriff's office reported that the man had no apparent injuries. The man faces felony charges of resisting arrest and two counts of aggravated menacing, as well as misdemeanor charges of obstructing official business and inducing panic. He is also wanted on warrants for aggravated possession of drugs and attempted grand theft.
