On May 4, 2026, Arkansas State Police initiated a high-speed pursuit after a gray Dodge Charger was spotted traveling more than 110 MPH on Interstate 430 with no headlights on. According to troopers, the driver repeatedly turned the vehicle’s lights off while fleeing through Little Rock and Saline County, reaching speeds up to 130 MPH on Stagecoach Road and West Baseline Road. During the chase, the Charger allegedly swerved toward other vehicles, drove into oncoming traffic, and narrowly avoided multiple head-on collisions. Troopers attempted several Tactical Vehicle Interventions (TVIs) throughout the pursuit as the driver continued evading at dangerous speeds. Authorities say the suspect repeatedly blocked PIT attempts by swerving in front of patrol units and using both lanes of traffic. The pursuit finally came to an end after troopers performed a successful TVI to prevent the Charger from striking oncoming vehicles head-on. The vehicle was then pinned and immobilized by additional Arkansas State Police units. The driver, identified as Flores, and passenger Cassio were both taken into custody without further incident. Troopers later located open alcoholic beverages inside the vehicle. Flores now faces multiple felony charges including aggravated assault, felony fleeing, criminal mischief, DUI, and several traffic-related offenses. #PoliceChase #DodgeCharger #ArkansasStatePolice
