On Friday, July 25, 2025, police responded to a Lululemon store in Hoboken, New Jersey, after two suspects walked out with stolen merchandise with the tags still attached. Upon stopping the suspects outside, officers placed them under arrest, leading to a heated confrontation that was captured entirely on body camera. In the end, both suspects were taken into custody and transported to the police department in separate vehicles. Based on the conduct documented in this bodycam footage, the following charges could potentially apply: * Retail Theft — For taking unpaid store merchandise with the tags still attached. * Resisting or Obstructing an Officer — Based on the man's repeated refusal to follow officers' commands and physical posturing during the arrest. * Threatening a Law Enforcement Officer — Based on the man's explicit statements threatening to physically attack the officers ("If you hurt me, I hurt you" and "I will punch you if you punch me"). The final charges, if any, would be determined by prosecutors based on the available evidence and applicable law.
