“Hey Kimberly, turn off your car for us.” Edmonds Police pull over a 51-year-old office manager who claims she’s rushing to pick up her father for an emergency dentist appointment. But officers aren’t there for a traffic stop. They’re arresting her for First-Degree Theft and First-Degree Identity Theft. For nearly eight years, she handled the books at Green City Dental for a friend of 30 years. Police allege she spent over $120,000 on the clinic’s own credit cards on jewelry, spa visits, and luxury shopping. Then her husband shows up at the scene, and detectives start asking questions about a joint Nordstrom card with over $60,000 in charges.
