On August 1, 2025, officers were dispatched to Target in response to an active shoplifting incident. The suspect, a woman who had stolen from the same location just hours earlier, had returned in an apparent attempt to commit theft again. Store loss prevention personnel closely monitored her actions as she moved through the store. Upon exiting and passing all points of sale without making any attempt to pay for the merchandise, officers—who had been waiting outside—were ready to intervene. This is footage of the events that followed.
